Items needed:

  • Bayou Classic Turkey Fryer Pot
  • Prime Rib

 

Directions:

  1. Heat enough oil to cover prime rib to 325 F
  2. Season prime rib with a outside rub, inject-able marinade, or both
  3. Pierce a hole with a knife long ways all the way through the center of the prime rib
  4. Insert the Bayou Classic frying rack through the hole
  5. Slowly lower prime rib into hot oil
  1. Cooking times:
    Rare: 2 3/4 minutes per pound
    Medium Rare: 3 1/2 minutes per pound
    Medium: 4 1/4 minutes per pound
    Remove from oil let drain, slice and serve.
