Items needed:

  • 4 pound lean pork roast
  • 3 cups of barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup of water

Directions:

  1. Remove all visible fat from roast and discard
  2. Add roast, water, and 2 cups barbecue sauce to pot
  3. Over high heat, bring liquid to a boil
  4. Lower heat and simmer 1 1/2 hours or until tender and meat is easily removed from bone (190 degrees or more on meat thermometer)
  5. Slice and serve with remaining barbecue sauce
