Fried Cabbage:

Items needed:

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 head green cabbage, very thinly sliced
  • 1/2 head red cabbage, very thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat
  2. Add bell pepper and sauté for 1 minute, (optional)
  3. Add cabbage and toss to coat with butter
  4. Continue frying and tossing until cabbage has softened and begins to brown
  5. Stir in salt and pepper (try red pepper for bolder/hotter flavor)
