Items needed:

 

  • 1 lb. Smoked sausage
  • Broken corn on the cob
  • New or quartered/peeled potatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 lb. shrimp

 

Directions:

  1. Fill pot 1/2 full with water and add smoked sausage
  2. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes
    Cut potatoes in half and add garlic cloves
  3. Boil for another 10 minutes
  4. Add corn and reduce heat to a slow boil
  5. Cook another 5-7 minutes
  6. Add shrimp and cook another 3-4 minutes at a slow boil.
  7. When using larger stock pots, blue crab can be added along with the corn and cook for 10 minutes; then add shrimp and cook for another 4 minutes.
