Items needed:

 

  • 2 quarts unshelled raw peanuts
  • 3 quarts water
  • 2 tablespoons coarse salt
  • 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes

 

 

 

 

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients in a stockpot and bring to a boil
  2. Boil gently for 45 minutes to an hour
  3. Test a cooled peanut for desired consistency
  4. After turning the flame off the longer the peanuts soak in the water the saltier they become
